Top Transfers

As we all know that the time before the season begins is the most exciting time of all - The Transfer Period. At the beginning of this season some hot transfers have been made.

  •  Samir Nasri  (Arsenal-Manchester City)                                                                                                                                          One of Arsenals favourites and top players Samir Nasri  has confirmed our suspicions of his move out of Arsenal to Manchester City for 22 mill. pounds. This was a big blow to Arsenal as his absence in Arsenals second Premier League match against Liverpool was clearly seen as they lost to them at home 0-2.
  • Ashley Young (Aston Villa-Manchester United)                                                                                       25 year old Aston Villa winger and striker has moved to last season winners Manchester United he said that his move was "fantastic" and  "It's a chance to... hopefully become part of the history by helping to win the 20th title."  he also said that an offer from such a big club was one that he couldn't turn down. He has proved his worth by helping Manchester United to begin by two wins ; worth  six points.
  • Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal-Barcelona)                                                                                                  It is undoubted that the biggest and the saddest transfer would be move of Arsenal skipper Fabregas to the club of his youth FC Barcelona for £175m. His absence was felt at Arsenal's 0-2 loss to Liverpool at The Emirates Stadium(this was the first time since 2000 that Arsenal is loosing to Liverpool) which has put the fourteenth in the table which of course is not a great start to the season. After his move Fabregas said that "it's the toughest challenge of my life" he also owed a great deal of thanks to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
