Champions league quarters update





















First game : Madrid  Vs Tottenham - One of the best matches two watch as both the teams would have an attacking display and even though spurs are having a dream run no one can count them out. Real likely to win the match and many people would put their money on them but my bet would go on spurs and they are turning to be the dark horses of this years Champions League. There is nothing to loose for the English side but Real Madrid have everything to loose. Mourinho would definitely like to show of another milestone in his career and move on . Ronaldo would miss the first leg due to injury and that would be a nice advantage for Spurs and hope they can capitalize on it.

Second game : Chelsea Vs Manchester United - this match would definitely see an English team reach the semis and probably reach the finals. Both teams having equal chances as United have confidence of being first in the league and Chelsea have the edge as they beat United recently. Its a match where any prediction can go wrong. Its all on the hands of players how they play on the day.

Third game : Barcelona Vs Shakthar - Barcelona clear favourites for this game. Shakhtar coming of a strong display in the last round against Roma showed that they are not scared of any team and would for sure play attacking against Barca. Barca goalie should tighten up his gloves and be ready to make some hot saves.

Fourth game : Inter Milan Vs Schalke04 - Inter getting the easiest draw in the quarters. Schalke not attacking much but play technically. Inter would like to comfortably reach the semis unlike the round of 16 they won which had a lot of drama. Schalke's main player would be Raul as he is eager to keep making an impact in Europe and show that he is still present.

Champions League last 4 matches of round of 16 2nd leg

Match 1 : Manchester United Vs Marseille : First leg being a boring draw, both the teams would like this to be a more exciting affair. 
 Manchester United the favorites got out of their bad run by beating Arsenal but Marseille could definitely cause a shocker. 
It would be André-Pierre Gignac Versus Van der Sar.









Match 2 : Bayern Vs Inter : Bayern with a 1-0 lead would like to beat Inter as they have that important one goal lead. Last times champions dont look like a team that can defend the title.
Last years finale assembled the same two teams (Bayern and Inter) where Inter won and became European Champions.
Bayern would take this as a chance of sweet and soft revenge and turn their very bad season to a pretty good one.






Match 3 : Chelsea Vs FC Kobenhavn : Chelsea would like to dispose them off easily and move ahead to the quarters. Kobenhavn who had a real nice season at home had lost to chelsea at home thanks to two beauties by Anelka .
Chelsea would like to keep it simple. Kobenhavn having a very bad away record are not likely to create an upset.
So fans i suggest put your bet money on Chelsea and earn big!


Match 4: Real Madrid Vs Lyon : The most interesting match according to me of the night. Lyon who knocked out Real Madrid at the same stage last year look desperate for the win. Both shared the spoils in the first leg scoring 1-1 and Lyon looked hungry for a win but Madrid didn't look like themselves. 
Both the teams would want to go to the next round and its evenly set up. 
Real Madrid have the needed away goal. Lets see how it goes.

Things Arsenal need to do to make this a good season :












Arsenal have many highs and lows in this season so i have chalked out points which i think they should improvise on :
1- Make Almunia keep even after Szczensy in back from injury since he is more experienced.
2- Capitalize on Manchester United's mistakes this season and also beat them in the league as that would possibly be the league winning match.
3- Beat Manchester United in FA cup and that would make three losses for them in a row and that would definitely hurt them psychologically.
4- Follow me on twitter and take my advice. https://twitter.com/utkarshkhanna . That was just a joke. Anyways they should play more of an attacking style so that there defense does't come under attack much.
5- Last but not the least, forget about the loss against barca and Birmingham as being out of Champions League in a way gives you more time to concentrate on league so take it positively. GO OUT AND WIN!!!

Kolo toure : latest hot topic around

Kolo Toure brother of yaya toure has now on him a charge that can cause him his career. He has been suspected of  takin the drugs. Now City in a little mess because of him would try to solve this problem out. This may not affect the team much but it might affect a player or so in the team.

A club statement read: "Manchester City confirm that the FA has informed Kolo Toure that an 'A-sample' provided by him has tested positive for a specified substance.
"As result of this, he has been suspended from participating in all first team and non-first team matches pending the outcome of the legal process."
An FA statement read: "The FA can confirm that a player has been provisionally suspended from playing pending investigation, having tested positive for the use of a prohibited substance."
He has been giving silly reasons for this and lets see if he gets out of this problem.

Match 1 : Barcelona - Arsenal : a cracker as aresenal are leading 2-1 and barca are on verge of gettin knocked out lets see if Messi can creater the magic he did at Camp Nou last season .






Match 2 : shakhtar donetsk versus roma : a big match for  both the teams as both have an outside chance . Shakhtar with a sensational win would try to make this season of theirs sensational by winning but it wouldnt be an easy road against roma.






Match 3 : Tottenham vs AC Milan : One of the biggest matches of this round. Tottenham with a clinical performance in the first leg where they won 1-0 seem calmed. They are expected to go to the next round as they have a good home record. Lets see if Milan can pull it back .





Match 4 : Schalke vs Valencia : Not a cracker but still Raul would want to for sure prove himself on such a big stage lets see what it turns out to be.

Rooneyy escapes punishment

Rooney like one big idiot elbowed James McCarthy of Wigan on Saturday. After what he had done he should have been sent off the pitch but was very lucky in not being sent off. ManU Boss Sir Ferguson also exclaimed his surprise saying "Wayne is really lucky that he wasn't sent off pitch because i guess every other player would have been sent off..."

Wigan fans accuse the referee of being a fraud ad not giving a red card and giving only a freekick because Rooney is a star player and ManU fans would insult him(i mean the referee)
