Van der Vaart injury blow
Redknapp said: "Rafa did his calf again in training so he's struggling...
"He missed a couple of games, played in Milan, got through 70 minutes and then yesterday morning didn't feel good.
"It's a blow, he is a fantastic player. We need him but we can't get that run out of him.
"I'm hoping he will be back for Wolves. He should be ok, it's not a tear."
Another problem for the team is that bale isn't yet back in form and out of his injury completely and likely to play in the next leg against AC Milan.
Thats not all for the tottenham fans as the player Woodgate which played a match for spurs after almost 15 min of his injury again got injured in the match.
Things gettin worse and worse for them as playmaker Corluka had got a very bad blow in the AC milan match. "Corluka had scans and will be out for a while, certainly not tomorrow and not sure how long after that," this was the comment made by the manager. Instead of him Modric will be making his way back in squad after becoming fit from the injury.
Hope it goes well for them....

Shay Given injured again
he needs three months to recover," Mancini said.
"He has the same injury that he had last year and I think that he needs an operation."
Big match for torres
Its his first champions league match since his arrival in chelsea. Chelsea would be playing FC Copenhagen who may give a big shock in europe by upsetting chelesa with a shocker. Seeing Chelsea's recent form it would not be a shock if they loose but torres with high expectations, i feel would score today with a stunner .
"The Champions League is not easy, but it will bring a lot of motivation for every one of us" this was said by Ancelloti. "We have to have the right pressure. We have to play against Copenhagen. We have 180 minutes to win this game."
He added boldly: "Chelsea won't go out against Copenhagen. I think we have the possibility to win against Copenhagen."

A player in making : David luiz
Comments made by Chelsea:
“I have no doubt that David would be a great success at Chelsea. First of all, he is a very good defender, but he is also comfortable on the ball and would contribute a lot, in terms of turning defence into attack.”
This is one interesting line i found on the net so would want to see your take on this line
"David Luiz: Half the price of Fernando Torres but twice the player, so far"

City waiting for dzeko to perform
His ex-manager Mclaren had stated " I think that Edin, once he learns to settle in England and adapts to the English system, will be a major force, certainly amongst the strikers. He has all the attributes to be a hit in England...They have got so many good strikers there at Manchester City that of course it will take him time to bed in but I think that he is a player that will be really suited to the Premier League.
City really wanting him to start scoring and getting settled to the conditions so that the pressure of tevez is reduced. Roberto mancini as a part of his tactics has challenged Dzeko to score and was stated saying ...."I expect more from dzeko, he need to improve as he is a good player" .
He now has a lot of pressure on him and lets see if he is able to pull of this pressure.
We all wish him luck
Torres moves to Chelsea for 80million
After Fernando Torres' debut against his old team he regretted moving to Chelsea he said "I am really disappointed that I moved to Chelsea because when I finished my match and was on my way to the dressing room I expected to see some fans like when I used to play for Liverpool but none had come, they burnt my jersey and my photos I regret moving to Chelsea" which was a total backfire from what he said just when he had moved "I am Happy now I've moved to a big club and would like ti stay here"
Transfer News: Tottenham and Liverpool chase Wickham; Manchester United eye De Rossi
Town are said to want around £15 million for Wickham but both clubs are unwilling to pay so much for a player still unproven at Premier League level. Spurs look to be in the driving seat, with Daniel Levy confident of securing the young Englishman for around £10m.
One thing's for sure, Connor won't be an Ipswich player come the start of next season.
With Paul Scholes not far away from retirement and Michael Carrick failing to establish himself in Sir Alex Ferguson's first-choice XI, Manchester United are on the hunt for a commanding central midfielder this summer.
Top of Fergie's wishlist is Daniele De Rossi, Roma's box-to-box midfield hardman. With Claudio Ranieri's side languishing towards mid-table, Champions League qualification looks unlikely this season, opening the door for De Rossi to move to Old Trafford.
The Italian international could cost around £20m.
Newcastle's Jose Enrique is a player in demand, with Liverpool and AC Milan lining up summer bids for the Spaniard.
Chelsea are interested in Turkish international Arda Turan.
Both Wigan and Bolton are hopeful of signing Middlesbrough midfielder Julio Arca this summer.
Patrice Evra looks set to stay at Manchester United despite interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Fernando Torres flops again but Cech dives to the rescue for Chelsea
Fernando Torres endured a miserable night at Fulham Chelsea's ?50m striker Fernando Torres flopped again as a 0-0 draw at Fulham all but ended their hopes of retaining the Barclays Premier League title. Manager Carlo Ancelotti dropped Didier Drogba to play the British record signing in his favourite formation, as forecast by Sportsmail on Monday, but ended up subbing the former Liverpool star after a miserable 71 minutes. Only a dramatic injury time penalty save by Petr Cech rescued the champions from defeat.
Ancelotti tried to defend Torres by insisting he'd improved on his disastrous debut against his old club, even though he did not muster a single shot on target during another disappointing display. The Chelsea boss said: 'Fernando played well. He used his ability to move. He had some opportunities in the first half and I took him out just to use Didier fresh and with power. 'His performance was better than that against Liverpool. It was a normal rotation. We wanted to have more control of the pitch in this game and to use the width in the second half. Maybe in the next game we will use both. 'Every striker wants to score. I don't think he's frustrated because he needs time to play with us and, after one week, he was really better tonight after that first performance. 'I don't know if Didier was happy, but every player knows every game is important. It doesn't matter. We wanted to rotate to maintain his condition and to give everyone great motivation.' Chelsea are two points behind Tottenham Hotspur with 12 games left to play

Wenger: Win strengthens belief
Wenger believes that a side containing eight starters aged 25 or under can only benefit from their heroics at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, and said: "I'm very proud for Arsenal FC. Everyone urged us to play differently to our nature. This win can strengthen belief in our philosophy, which is more important than pride."
He added: "It was a special night for my team. Our players showed exceptional strength and togetherness. The victory will reinforce that.
"The age of the team which started is very, very young. What we can do at this age is very promising for the future and our target is to keep them together.
"We have the FA Cup on Sunday and that competition is very different. In England you have to be focused for these kind of things."
Jones signs new Blackburn Rovers deal
Phil Jones has become the latest Blackburn player to commit his future to the club after signing a one-year contract extension.
The England Under-21 international, currently sidelined with a knee injury, has added another 12 months on to his current deal, which now takes him up to the summer of 2016.
"This is great news, especially on the back of so many other key players committing themselves to the club," said manager Steve Kean. "Phil has made incredible progress over the past year or so and his form, prior to his unfortunate injury setback, attracted a lot of attention."
He added: "It speaks volumes that he is happy to stay here for the long term and we are all absolutely delighted."
Jones, who can play in defence or midfield, follows the likes of captain Chris Samba, Michel Salgado, Jason Roberts and Mark Bunn in agreeing new contracts in the last month.
Manchester United confident Patrice Evra will not join Real Madrid
Manchester United are confident Patrice Evra will sign a newcontract in the coming days that will keep him from the clutches ofReal Madrid. France international Evra has been deliberating over his future, aware that Jose Mourinho has a place waiting for him in his squad at the Bernabeu. But United have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to persuade him to stay at Old Trafford and are now cautiously optimistic that they have won the battle. Deal me in: Evra looks set to remain a United player rather than join Real Madrid Evra's current contract expires a the end of next season and United wouldn't normally open talks until the summer. However, manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been aware of the former Monaco defender's interest in a move

Hamstring injury rules Gerrard out
Liverpool have confirmed club captain Steven Gerrard will be out of action for around a month after he sustained a hamstring problem during England's 2-1 friendly loss against France at Wembley on Wednesday evening.
The midfield talisman was forced out of the action five minutes from time in the capital and the Anfield medical team have suggested the injury will require a rest period of between three and four weeks.
England head coach Fabio Capello has received criticism from the club after it was agreed Gerrard would play for an hour in London, but his evening was prolonged, ultimately resulting in his setback, but head of sports medicine and sports science Dr Peter Brukner remains philosophical.
He said: "Steven injured his hamstring last night. He's just been in for an early assessment here and it certainly looks like a significant hamstring injury.
"He's just heading off for a scan as we speak and we should have the results of that tonight. He's going to be out for a little while, I'm afraid. I'd imagine it could be three to four weeks.
"If you put your hand up to play for your country, you've got to accept how long they want you to play for," he said.
"There were obviously circumstances last night which came together to result in Steven playing for a bit longer than we'd hoped, which is disappointing but there's nothing we can do about that now.
"We'll move on and work as hard as we can to get him back playing for Liverpool as soon as possible."
Cesc Fabregas: Arsenal's win over Barcelona was the best match I've played in
He also added ' The win against Barcelona has generated belief that Arsenal's six-year trophy drought could end with an unprecedented haul of silverware this season. Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny added: 'We're very fit. We have a lot of games but don't seem to get tired and I believe we can compete in every competition.'

Sparta Prague 0-0 Liverpool: Report
In fact, it was Sparta who created the few chances, most of which were created from wide positions as full-backs Ondrej Kusnir, on the right, and the particularly effective Manuel Pamic advanced at regular intervals.
With Glen Johnson, back in his more familiar right-sided role, and Danny Wilson, a centre-back playing on the left, rarely getting the opportunity to go forward.Pamic gave Johnson problems in the first half and almost capitalised to great effect in the 17th minute.
Martin Abena slid a pass inside the England defender and Pamic raced into the penalty area to drill a low shot from a narrow angle which Reina parried to safety.
Even the normally unflappable Spain international was not immune to the general untidiness which littered Liverpool's play and when he could only parry Kusnir's deep cross into the path of Pamic he was relived to see the defender blaze over with his weaker right foot.
Sotirios Kyrgiakos was next to the Reds' rescue, putting in a diving block to halt former Reading midfielder Marek Matejovsky's shot as it travelled goalwards.
With a lack of central midfielders, having left Gerrard and expectant father Christian Poulsen at home, the last thing Dalglish needed was to see Fabio Aurelio forced off with an injury in the first half.
It prompted a reshuffle with Raul Meireles withdrawn from his advanced role, from where he had scored five goals in six previous matches, to allow Joe Cole to come on.
The second half was little different from what had gone before except for Liverpool enjoying slightly more possession.
But the successful passing game which had been so evident in their six-match unbeaten Barclays Premier League run never really got going.
Sparta continued to pose the greater threat, however, and Leony Kweuke headed just wide from range on the hour.
Liverpool's best chance came with 20 minutes to go when Lucas Leiva's lofted pass picked out Johnson on the right of the penalty area.
He weaved inside but instead of shooting with his left foot - with which he has scored some screamers from range - he opted for the outside of his right and poked the ball past the far post.
